Bombs and Bottles – Reader Recommended Electro Pop

The site has only been up for a few months and we have gotten a couple recommendations for new artists since we’ve started, but I was very excited after Michael Louis Gross messaged our facebook page to suggest Bombs and Bottles. I youtubed Bombs and Bottles and really liked the tracks, “When the Lights Go Out” and “The Club”.

The music is made by a cool young dude from Brooklyn, New York, Harrison Zafrin. He combines electro, dubstep, and pop for a catchy, danceable sound that is just the right mix of familiar and unique. You probably haven’t heard his music yet, but I really think you will be hearing more from him the future. The good folks at MTV took notice of Bombs and Bottles and featured some of his music on their shows like Teen Wolf and The Pauly D Show.

Getting the recommendation for this music was really cool because it was totally the type of music that I like to listen to on a regular basis. I liked it so much I decided to contact Bombs and Bottles through facebook just to say how much I enjoyed the sound. I didn’t expect a response but was surprised to get a message back shortly after saying that he appreciated the kind words. This is one of the cool things about writing about new and up-coming artists. They are still accessible for someone to reach out and say they like what they’re doing and hopefully it encourages the artist to know that they are on the right track.

Please give Bombs and Bottles a listen below and leave a comment on what you think. Also, if you have a recommendation for a band or artist that you like and think should be playing on the radio or at least deserves a wider audience be sure to like our facebook page and message us through that or you can email us through the site.
